ResideBPG would like to thank everyone who attended the ResideBPG Holiday Pet Palooza, our second annual holiday party with the Delaware Humane Association. The event took place at The Residences at Christina Landing and all of the ResideBPG residents were welcome to join in the fun! A special thank you goes out to Windcrest Animal Hospital for sponsoring the event.
Residents and their furry family members enjoyed mingling with fellow neighbors while enjoying delicious holiday treats. Pets arrived dressed to impress and even took photos with “Santa Paws.”
The Delaware Humane Association is located right down the street from The Residences at Christina Landing and is unlike any adoption facility in the region.
Delaware Humane Association (DHA) is Delaware’s premiere nonprofit no kill animal care and adoption center. They are committed to providing for the needs of homeless and owned dogs and cats in the community.
Each year, hundreds of animals come to DHA in search of a warm bed, good meal, and most importantly, a new home. Their dedicated staff and volunteers work hard to ensure that each animal receives the best care possible during his/her stay at the adoption facility. DHA is committed to preparing all adoptable dogs and cats for a new home by keeping them well-groomed, giving them daily exercise and affection, and providing obedience training and any necessary medical care.
DHA serves the community by offering affordable spay/neuter services, low cost vaccination clinics, and a pet food pantry.
DHA receives no government funding, and rely on the support of the community in the form of volunteers, private donations, bequests, grants, and fundraising events such as the Holiday Pet Palooza which raised $2,277. Click here to make a donation to this incredible organization.
