The Friends of Rodney Square invite you to attend the unveiling of the Historic Marker in Rodney Square on May 15, 2017 at noon. The Friends of Rodney Square are government, corporate, legal and non-profit neighbors to the Square that have come together to ensure a clean, safe and quality physical and horticultural environment benefiting a National Historic Site that is directly in front of The Residences at Rodney Square. In 2011, the Rodney Square Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). This event will ensure that Rodney Square receives the public recognition that Wilmington’s prime urban park deserves.
