Thank you to everyone (and their dogs!) who came out last Wednesday, June 8th, to The Residences at Christina Landing for the first Picnic N’ Paws event, as well as all of our awesome volunteers who helped make this possible! The event supported the Delaware Humane Society, who brought some adorable dogs that were ready to be adopted! We were able to help one lucky puppy, Cesar, find a new home with a loving family, with possible future adoptions to come! The event also featured delicious dishes brought by the attendees, who voted to decide the best appetizer, main dish, and dessert. The winner of each category received a $100 gift card to the World Café Live at the Queen! Congratulations to Jason G., whose taco dip won Best Appetizer; Sean M., whose buffalo mac & cheese won Best Main Dish; and Fernicia W., whose s’mores brownies won best dessert!
