For three full days of sweet, sweet melodies, mark your calendars for the Wilmington Winter Bluegrass Festival. This beloved weekend-long event will take place from March 17-19 at the Crowne Plaza Wilmington North. More than 10 local bluegrass bands will take the stage throughout the weekend, with two main stages for events galore.
In addition to headline performances, there will be a variety of workshops for all musicians throughout the weekend. From "Injury Prevention for Musicians" to "The Business of Making and Releasing a Marketable CD," instrument clinics to beginner’s jam sessions, there is something for everyone.
Visit their website to grab the full schedule and list of participating bands. Tickets are being sold for the entire weekend for $60 if you purchase in advance online. You can also choose to attend just Friday for $25, Saturday for $30, or Sunday for $10.
