St. Anthony's Italian Festival celebrates all things Italian—food, culture, and religion—from June 11th to the 18th at St. Anthony of Padua Church and various venues around Wilmington's Little Italy. This year, the festival highlights Sicily, featuring its distinct foods and tradition in the many dining spots and entertainment areas.
If you're mostly interested in the food, check out the Scott Street Vendor and Food Court. It's been revamped this year, so it promises not only fresh Italian fare and drink, but also tented seating areas and service counters reminiscent of actual Italian eateries. Nearby in the Ballad Room, La Casa Pasta and The Chesapeake Inn dish out their award-winning Italian grub. There are also tons of events to take part in over the course of the festival, from live concerts to Kiddie Land, a family-friendly area packed with rides and activities.
Admission is only $5 per day and kids under the age of 14 are free.
