Things to do for the 4th of July!

The City of Wilmington has prepared numerous different events for you to get involved in to make this 4th of July the best yet! Check out all of the listed celebrations and see which one fits with how you are planning to spend your 4th!

Southern Backyard BBQ @ Iron Hill Brewery – 

Celebrate the 4^th of July on the patio at Iron Hill for a Southern Backyard BBQ and front row seats to the Wilmington fireworks! Enjoy 5 different courses that will have you wanting to celebrate the 4^th like this every year! The festivities at Iron Hill will be beginning at 7:30 PM!

CBN’s 4^th of July Celebration at Constitution Yards Beer Garden –

Head to Constitution Yards this 4^th of July and join CBN in a celebration that you will never forget! There will be family fun, drinks, food, games, and to end the night, you will get to experience a huge waterfront display of fireworks! You will not want to miss this!

Wilmington’s 4^th of July Celebration at Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park –

Celebrate July 4^th along the Christina River at Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park where you will participate in family activities and listen to a live concert full of patriotic American music. After all of these fun things, you will get to view the festive fireworks from a new point of view that will have you wanting to come back for another celebration!

Happy Hour at the Delaware Art Museum –

Spend your 4^th of July at the Delaware Art Museum for their happy hour from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM. There is no cost for admission and there will be live music on the terrace for you to listen to. You can picnic in the Sculpture Garden but there will also be food and beverages on the terrace that you can purchase.

Blue Rocks Firework Show –

Celebrate your 4^th of July a day early with the Wilmington Blue Rocks! After cheering them on during their game against Potomac on July 3rd, they will be having special Independence Day fireworks that you will not want to miss out on!

34^th Firecracker 5k Run Walk –

If you are a runner or just interested in participating in this amazing 5k, this is your opportunity! On July 4^th start your day of celebration with a run through Rockford Park and participate in the 34^th Firecracker 5k!
