ResideBPG hosted our 2024 Annual Holiday Food Drive in partnership with BPG Cares, BPGS Construction and BPG|360. We are proud to announce the 2024 food drive was an astounding success! Additionally, we would like to thank everyone involved for their generosity.
Neighborhood House, BPG Cares, a legacy of service
Partnered with Wilmington-based organization, Neighborhood House, BPG Cares was able to donate 5,000 non-perishable items to the community. Neighborhood House’s mission is to feed, clothe and educate children and families of Wilmington’s Southbridge. The organization has been able to successfully expand to serve low-to-moderate income families throughout New Castle County. Founded in 1927, Neighborhood House continues to fulfill its mission, enfranchising neighbors by providing resources needed for self-dependence.
The impact
Due to an overwhelming amount of donations, Neighborhood House is able to open their pantry to the community allowing recipients the opportunity to choose what would help them the most. Thanks to the kindness of BPG tenants, residents, and associates, these donations will help the organization serve well over 100 families a month during the holiday season.
BPG Cares would like to extend a special thank you to BPGS Construction’s, Doug Wilson and Antwone Townsend and to ResideBPG‘s Jovanni Vega and Chris Miller for their help in picking-up and delivering the donations to Neighborhood House. And lastly, but equally important, many thanks to the team at Neighborhood House for all they have accomplished in strengthening our community for decades.
We invite all those able to do so, to support a charity or organization of their choice this holiday season. No amount of kindness is too small to make a difference.
