The Residences communities are proud to be built on a foundation of core values that include community service and giving back. This past November, each of The Residences communities participated in a food drive for the Food Bank of Delaware. Residents and employees donated non-perishable goods to ensure those within the Wilmington community who were less fortunate had a wonderful holiday season as well.
Through the donations from The Residences communities, over 61 pounds of food was collected! Donations like this contributed to over 5 million pounds of food that was collected over the past year to hungry Delawareans, which was enough to provided 4 million meals!
The Food Bank of Delaware is currently providing services to over 10,300 individuals weekly, of which 25% are children. Please consider joining us in donating to this great cause and ending hunger in Delaware.
