There’s still plenty of summer fun to look forward to, and these two upcoming festivals are proof! Bonus: They’re taking place just moments from ResideBPG. Double bonus: Burgers and beer are involved!
1) Delaware on Tap
This Saturday, August 13, head to Tubman-Garrett Park in Wilmington to sample the latest suds from more than 100 craft breweries from across the nation. Tickets include three hours of sampling, plus a souvenir glass, and live music. Spring for the VIP ticket, and you’ll also score a food voucher, a branded baseball cap, and an additional hour of sampling time. Food will be available for purchase for everyone.
2) Delaware Burger Battle
Returning for its fifth year on Saturday, August 27, at the Cauffiel House in Wilmington, the Delaware Burger Battle invites top chefs to compete for trophies and the title of best burger! You’ll enjoy samples of each burger, then vote for your favorite. Beer and soft drinks will also be served. Better still, ticket sales benefit the Emmanuel Dining Room, a charity that prepares and serves no-cost, healthy meals to persons in need.
