Once a month, Penn Cinema Riverfront celebrates Throwback Thursday with the help of Premier Wine & Spirits and Out and About Magazine. Together, they host Movies on Tap at Penn Cinema, an event dedicated to cult classic films, locally brewed beers, and giving back to the Wilmington community.
The upcoming Moves on Tap is scheduled for Thursday, July 20th and showcases a quintessential '80s flick, Fast Times at Ridgemont High. If you've never seen it, you're in for a fun and quirky ride as you follow the lives of high schoolers living in Southern California. The movie starts at 7 p.m., but the fun begins at 6:30 p.m. when Philadelphia-area brewery Victory Brewing Company starts pouring its signature beers. Taste-test the different varieties and chat with the brewers before you head into the theater for Fast Times. Guests can purchase tickets online for $20, which goes to the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware.
