There is no doubt in my mind that pizza is the greatest thing to be born in Italy-right up there with Super Mario and those guys the Ninja Turtles were named after. When I was a kid I ordered Domino’s pizza so often I eventually just memorized the number. This was before I could count to ten, but luckily phones don’t use numbers that high.
Needless to say, these days I’m pretty much an expert on the subject. Not counting (I still struggle with double digits) but boy do I know my pizza. I’ve eaten more pizza over the years than, well, let’s just assume it’s a lot of people. Seriously, numbers aren’t my thing.
But never, and I mean never, have I encountered a pizza experience quite like the one provided by Pizza by Elizabeths. It’s not just a pizzeria. It’s fine dining centered around everyone’s favorite combination of dough, cheese and tomatoes. Their brick oven creates a crust I literally dreamt about last night. If you’re wondering, it was a somber dream, like Casablanca-but with more pizza. Which, in my opinion, is an infinitely better movie.
Honestly, it was a privilege to eat their pizza. And you’d all be lucky to receive even a bite of the crust. Which was also delicious.
Actually, screw this, I had a bunch more ideas for this post but I’d rather just call it a day and go back to Pizza by Elizabeths. You know what, let’s all ditch work and head over there right now. Unless my boss is reading this-in which case just don’t come by my cubicle for the rest of the day because…I don’t know, bees.
