See ya later, Uber! Now open for the 2017 season, the River Taxi offers a peaceful way to get around Wilmington: by cruising down the Christina River by boat! The taxi makes six stops: Dravo Plaza, the Public Docks, FireStone Roasting House, Riverfront Market/Harry’s Seafood Grill, Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park, and Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard. The ride runs $7 for adults, and $5 for kiddos and senior citizens.
With space for 29, you can also rent out the River Taxi for events, like work networking evening events or an epic birthday party. They also host a Wednesday Wine Cruise, which is definitely the best way to spend hump day. History buffs will love the option for a one-hour history tour offered periodically as well.
