World Cafe Live at The Queen has long been a go-to venue—or rather, a pairing of two distinct venues—for music lovers in Wilmington. But its shows upstairs and downstairs have, historically, been kind of a nuisance to buy tickets for if you wanted to grab them in person. That's no longer a problem. As of Feb. 1, the box office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or 10 p.m. on show nights) Monday through Friday, and 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday when shows are scheduled.
This means you can swing by any time not only to grab tickets to upcoming shows, but also to chat with the helpful staff about what's in the works for the next few weeks. Along with the extended box office hours, the restaurant has recently begun opening at 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday—meaning you can snag happy hour specials before your show. It all awaits a short distance from your place at ResideBPG.
