You might think of the art museum as a place where you can look, not touch, but that implied code of conduct gets squashed at The Delaware Art Museum this Valentine's Day. The museum invites attendees of its Clay Date event to enjoy a hands-on experience working the ceramics studio. Since the museum sits just a short drive from ResideBPG, consider buying tickets for you and your significant other ($30 per person for members, $35 for non-members).
Show up at 7 p.m. to enjoy cocktails and mingling with other guests. The museum will provide the beer, wine, and noshes, you need only to bring the good conversation and energy. Then settle in for an art session during which you'll get to play around with clay and create a piece you can actually take home and use in your apartment. Even beginners are welcome to join in the fun at the Clay Date event, given that they're 21 years or older.
