Here's an out-of-the-ordinary (and cheap!) way to kick off the weekend: Head to the Delaware Art Museum on a Thursday. If you do, you'll be able to take advantage of waived admission fees! Every Thursday (after 4 p.m.) and Sunday (all day), the Wilmington museum offers complimentary entry to all guests.

Consider it added incentive to pop by and peruse the museum's collections, which span Pre-Raphaelite to contemporary American art. The collections are augmented by oversized works of art on display in the Copeland Sculpture Garden as well as traveling exhibitions (on view now is a complete set of nine mural panels painted by Howard Pyle). Stop by to explore the museum next week, and be sure to keep an eye on the events calendar!
