Govatos Chocolates has been around for more than a century, a labor of love by native Greek John Govatos. He moved to the U.S. and opened what was then called "Queen Elizabeth Chocolates" in Wilmington back in 1894. The name changed to Govatos Chocolates in 1898, but the time-tested family recipes and careful craftsmanship of each chocolate remains the same to this day. Make the short drive from ResideBPG to Govatos Chocolates's candy store to try one of the sweets yourself.

You can pick up a box of assorted milk or dark chocolates for your Valentine, or just grab a treat or two to enjoy right there on the spot. Govatos plays host to a huge roster of candies, from the chocolate-covered cherries and chocolate-covered pretzels to decadent truffles and almond bark.
