NOVEMBER

Frozen Tea | November 9 at 3PM

The weather is getting colder, so bring your favorite prince or princess to an afternoon with Elsa! Tea, sandwiches and winter treats will abound, as well as some hot chocolate to warm the coldest of days. It will be a magical afternoon for the whole family!

Rudolph Tea | November 23 at 3:30PM

Sip tea and enjoy petite sandwiches, scones, and pastries at our tea party in the Green Room before or after the performances of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at the Playhouse on Rodney Square.

Gold Ballroom Thanksgiving Buffet | November 28 at 11AM & 1:30PM

Traditional variety of delicious selections including lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail station, international cheese display, Chef’s assortment of seasonal salads, carved to order roasted tom turkey, certified Black Angus filet mignon, filet of salmon, HOTEL DU PONT crab cakes, favorite holiday side dishes, and a spectacular holiday dessert buffet.
$85 per person; $35 children under 12; children under 5 free

Green Room Prix Fixe Thanksgiving | November 28 at 12 & 2:30PM

Feast on an elaborate four-course prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner that includes amuse of jumbo shrimp cocktail, appetizer course to include lobster bisque, mushroom risotto, caesar salad, and smoked salmon, followed by a choice of traditional tom turkey with all the fixings, certified Black Angus filet mignon, filet of Scottish salmon, lobster tail, or vegetables and red quinoa, finished with Chef’s holiday dessert trio.
$95 per person; $35 children under 12; children under 5 free

Breakfast with Santa | November 30 from 9-11:30AM

Celebrate the holidays by enjoying a festive breakfast buffet with Santa! Share your holiday wishes, and don’t forget to bring your camera to take photos with Santa.

DECEMBER

Sunday Holiday Brunch | Sundays in December from 11AM – 2PM

We will be serving holiday brunch every Sunday in December featuring a Caesar salad station, pasta station, roast tom turkey, Black Angus filet mignon, omelet station, waffles, french toast, filet of salmon and a children’s buffet for our little guests.
$55 per person; $29 children under 12; children under 5 free

The Crown Tea | December 12 at 3PM

If you fancy having tea like a queen over petite little sandwiches and crumpets then you’re in luck. In honor of Winterthur’s Costuming the Crown Exhibit (March 30, 2019-January 5, 2020), the Green Room will be hosting afternoon tea complete with a sumptuous array of fine teas, an assortment of cakes, pastries, tea sandwiches and, of course, scones all served in the English tradition that would make HRM the Queen proud. Along with tea, guests will receive a cocktail of their choice (Royal Manhattan or Her Majesty’s Pleasure).

Gingerbread House Decorating Party and Buffet | December 15 from 10AM – 1PM

Hosted by our Pastry Chef, you provide a little imagination and we’ll take care of the fully assembled gingerbread house, tons of frosting, and all the candy you’ll need for the sweet house of your
dreams. Work as a family, a couple or on your own. Adult assistance suggested for children under 8. Max 4 per house.
$75 per house including a light brunch for up to 4 guests

Avant Holiday dinners | December 21-23

A festive 4-course holiday menu to include lobster bisque, crab cakes, smoked salmon, composed salads, and entrées include certified Black Angus filet mignon, filet of salmon, Pekin duck breast, red quinoa and vegetables and a spectacular holiday dessert.

Christmas Eve Dinner | December 24 at 5 & 8PM

An exquisite 4-course holiday prix fixe menu featuring lobster bisque, Kennett Square mushroom risotto, raw oysters, certified Black Angus filet mignon, filet of salmon, Pekin duck breast, lobster
tail, quinoa and vegetables and a spectacular holiday dessert by Chef Leah.
$85 per person; $35 children under 12; children under 5 free

Christmas Day Brunch | December 25 at 10:30AM, 1 & 3:30 PM

Add our delicious brunch to your Christmas Day celebration. Menu to include breakfast breads and pastries, Caesar salad station, shrimp station, oyster bar, clams casino, oysters Rockefeller, filet mignon, omelet station, crab cakes, eggs benedict, Belgian waffles, cinnamon cream cheese stuffed french toast, and dessert display.

Early New Year’s Eve Dinner | December 31 at 5:30PM

Celebrate an early New Year’s Eve at Wilmington’s most magnificent hotel. Our dining room will be serving a three-course dinner in the Green Room at 5:30 pm. Glass of bubbly included.

New Year’s Eve Party | December 31 at 8PM

Ring in 2020 in style at our New Year’s Eve Party. Feast on a spectacular 5-course dinner with wine pairings in the Green Room at 8 pm followed by a live band, Red Alert, dancing, festive party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.
