Very few restaurants can claim to be in business for over seventy years.   When they do, you know it has to be for good reason.  Mrs. Robino’s Restaurant in Wilmington is no exception.   Family owned and operated since 1940, Mrs. Robino’s serves authentic Italian cuisine, bursting with flavor.

The interior makes you feel as if you were eating in an Italian lady’s dining room 40 years ago.  The friendly service, wood panel walls, illustrated paper place mats, and outdated furniture create a comfortable, homey ambience.  Start off with the House Greens and Garlic.  They have used the same recipe since the restaurant opened, and it is a great way to get your appetite going.   If greens aren’t your thing, try the Antipasto Giuseppe.

Mrs. Robino’s makes fresh pastas and sauces every day.  Check out the Linguini in Red Crab Sauce, or try the Cheese Ravioli with homemade spicy red sauce.  The pizza at Mrs. Robino’s is done in authentic Italian style with crispy, thin crust.  For those looking to fill their bellies to the brim, the Veal Parmesan and Chicken Josephine are both great options.  Of course there is no better way to wash it all down than with a glass of red wine.   Mrs. Robino’s offers a nice variety, as well as white wines and bottled beer .

Less than two miles from the Residences at Rodney Square and the Residences at Justison Landing, Mrs. Robino’s Restaurant is conveniently located and is a neighborhood icon in Wilmington.  Whether you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, or just want some good old fashioned Italian food, Mrs. Robino’s Restaurant is definitely worth checking out!
