Today he runs a stroll worthy commercial brewery nestled on a 252 acre historical lot that’s just a hop, skip and jump away from the Residences. Each Wednesday and Saturday he invites passionate beer and history fans to indulge in a riveting tour of the property complete with all American ales and a rich antique ambience. Stories told here range from an overview of George Washington’s rumored stomping grounds to an in-depth look at Brandywine Valley heritage and of course, the captivating recollections of all things related to beer.

 

Getting to the Twin Lakes Brewery from Home

The Twin Lakes Brewery is slightly off the beaten path in a secluded place where a winding driveway spirals around the enchantingly waters of Greenville, Delaware. Live, Work, Play residents can type 4210 Kennett Pike Greenville, Delaware into their navigation systems or simply follow the directions listed below:

 

Take I-95 North to exit 7 veering slightly to the right on North Adams Street. Travel for approximately .2 miles making a left onto Delaware Ave. You will find your destination on the left just after Greenville Crossing Lane. Your estimated arrival time is approximately 12 minutes if you’re coming by car. Cyclers can enjoy a 20 minute bike ride to the Twin Lakes Brewery by taking Lancaster Ave. to North DuPont Road and making a left onto Kennett Pike.

 

General Admission Information

Wednesday tours commence at 4pm and end at 7pm. Saturday attendees should prepare for a slightly earlier arrival time with doors to the brewery opening at noon and closing at 4 pm. Admission price is $22 but bringing extra cash along for growlers or souvenirs is advisable. Each tour features a gourmet cheese platter and tastings are held in a sophisticated studio which is decorated with works from various local artists.
