If you see a cow-print food truck parked outside Nemours Hospital this month, that can only mean one thing: Only a few moments separate you from the creamy, made-from-scratch ice cream of UDairy Creamery, the student-run ice cream parlor of the University of Delaware's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
It's all part of UDairy Creamery's initiative to see if there's enough demand to warrant opening a UDairy Creamery location on Wilmington's Market Street. To find out, UDairy Creamery will park its black-and-white Moo Mobile beside Nemours on six different dates in May, scooping out ice cream made from milk from the 100 Holstein cows that reside on the CANR’s 350-acre dairy farm and complex.
Queue up curbside to order a cone or cup in flavors that span chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla to Peanut-Cocoa-Loco, Peach Schnap!, and Holy Fluffernutter. If you like what you taste, be sure to stop by again (and again!) to show your support. If you do, we might just get our very own UDairy Creamery store close to ResideBPG!
